Mr. Mohamed Benjelloun Al Andaloussi

Mr. Mohamed Benjelloun Al Andaloussi

Born in Fez in 1945.

Mr. Mohamed Benjelloun Al Andaloussi is graduate from the ENES (Advanced School of Teachers) and from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Mr. Benjelloun was elected Secretary General of the Fédération libre de l’enseignement, organization for teaching, at the seventh congress in Rabat in 1978.

He has been member of the National Council of the Istiqlal Party (PI) since 1966, where he was elected successively in 1998 and 2002 to the party’s Executive Committee.

Mr. Benjelloun has been member of the executive committee of the Association marocaine pour l’appui de la lutte du peuple palestinien (Moroccan association for supporting the fight of Palestinian people) since 1978. In 2002, he headed this association.

He was elected as Secretary General of the General Union of Moroccan Workers, (UGTM) at the extraordinary congress of January 2006. He was also elected member of the executive committee of the World Trade Union Organization in October 2006.

Mr. Mohamed Benjelloun Al Andaloussi is married and father of two children.
