CNDH’s commission in Dakhla-Aousserd holds social and cultural activities for migrants

The Regional Human Rights Commission of Dakhla-Aousserd held several social and cultural activities for migrants, on 17 and 18 July in Dakhla.

These activities include a conference on migration and development, a football match between a local team and a team of migrants, a Ramadan fast-breaking meal, and an artistic concert to which participated migrant performers from Dakhla.
The representatives of the Coalition of sub-Saharan Migrants, affiliated with the Labor Democratic Organization (Moroccan trade union), took part in these activities.

The CNDH and its regional human rights commissions has held several activities and meeting in favor of migrants rights, in implementation of the new migration policy that Morocco adopted, following the recommendations of the Council’s report: Foreigners and Human Rights in Morocco - For a Radically New Asylum and Migration Policy.
