As part of the implementation of the Equity and Reconciliation Commission (IER), particularly as regards the community reparation program, the Advisory Council on Human Rights (CCDH) and the Entraide Nationale signed a framework partnership agreement to support social projects meant for the groups living in vulnerable situations in the regions covered by the Community Reparation Program.

Under this agreement, the Entraide Nationale shall contribute to the programs for rehabilitation of the communities in the regions covered by the Community Reparation Program (Er-Rachidia, Ouarzazate, Figuig, Azilal, Khenifra, Khemisset, Nador, Al Hoceima, Tan Tan and Hay Mohammadi-Ain Sebaa) through:

- Contributing to setting up, expanding and rehabilitating the social welfare institutions (child houses, boarding schools, hostels for the elderly…), centres for education, training and integration of girls in the rural areas and children who stopped schooling, multidisciplinary social complexes, child care centres in rural areas and urban ones, and productive cooperatives for women in vulnerability;

- Supporting the activities of the local coordination bodies for community reparation and associations working in the social field;

Meanwhile, the CCDH pledges to do the following:

- Drawing up proposals and projects in coordination with local coordination bodies and the National Oversight Committee;

- Mobilizing local, national and international partners to contribute to implementing the programs stipulated in this agreement;

- Overseeing training sessions in human rights education for the executives and managers of welfare institutions;

- Drawing up global and general reports on the implementation of programs stipulated in this agreement and its annexes.

By virtue of this agreement, the two parties seek to create a framework of cooperation with various social stakeholders from government and semi-government departments, local communes, private sector, international, regional, national and local organizations, and the communities who benefited from the programs.
