Third Regional Consultation Meeting on the Process of Drawing up the PANDDH in Morocco

The Centre for Documentation, Information and Training in Human Rights (CDIFDH) organises the third regional consultation meeting on the process of drawing up the National Action Plan in Democracy and Human Rights (PANDDH), in Meknes, on July 12, 2008.

The meeting aims to inform, mobilize and raise awareness of a large number of regional actors coming from the regions of Meknes- Tafilatet, Fes- Boulmane, Lgharb Chrarda Beni Yehssen, and the eastern region of Morocco.

As was the case with the two meetings held in Marrakech and Agadir, the Meknes meeting will address the following themes: Roles and organization of actors, modalities and tools of appropriation and participation of actors, defining priority themes, and defining the needs in terms of actors’ capacity-building.

The proceedings of the meeting are expected to start at 9 a.m, in Hotel Menzeh Dalia (Route de Rabat).

It is worth mentioning that the last regional meeting scheduled within the scope of the consultation process will take place in Tangier, on July 19, 2008.
