Khemissa 2009: Vote for Rabha Ouniha
She represents the commitment of women to the process of reconciliation and preservation of the memory of women victims of the period known in Morocco as the years of lead.In addition to her action for improving women's income in Imilchil and preservation of local know-how, Ms. Rabha is a driving force in implementing the pilot project on rehabilitation of women victims of years of lead and preservation of the memory of Fadma Ouharfou, former political detainee who died in the Agdz detention secret center. In this regard, she trained more than 100 women and girls of the village of Sountate for the production of carpets bearing the name of Fadma Ouharfou and participated actively in the organization of the reconciliation caravans led by young girls of Imilchil in memory of Fadma Ouharfou. This caravan has beautifully showed the momentum towards a future of peace building with an awareness among the younger generation about past abuses and rehabilitation of the memory of victims.
