Fostering Cooperation Between CCDH and DIHR

On the fringe of the Third Arab-European High-Level Human Rights Dialogue, held from 6 to 8 May in Rabat on the theme of migration, the President of the Advisory Council on Human Rights (CCDH), Mr Ahmed Herzenni, held a meeting with Mr Morten Kjirom, Director of the Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR).

At the end of this meeting, it was agreed to develop a program of cooperation between the CCDH and the DIHR. For this purpose, A CCDH delegation will headed for Copenhagen in June for a first exploratory visit.

It should be noted that the Danish Institute for Human Rights, reorganized under the Paris Principles in 2002, is entrusted with the missions of the Danish Centre for Human Rights (DCHR) founded in 1987. The DIHR is dependent on the Danish Centre for International Studies and Human Rights.
