Arab Institute for Human Rights

This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the Advisory Council on Human Rights (CCDH) and the Arab Institute for Human Rights (AIHR), in such a way as to disseminate and educate on human rights and democracy among governmental and non-governmental parties.

Under this agreement, both parties will hold training sessions in different fields of human rights and implement joint training programs for human rights activists, journalists, teachers, lawyers, judges, and law enforcement personnel. Also, the agreement provides for collaborating in holding seminars, meetings and workshops in human rights, conducting joint studies and research in the field of human rights, collaborating in releasing publications on human rights, and exchanging information on source guides, bibliographies and indices. In addition, they will collaborate in the field of specialized training, communication and information technology, and exchange of experience in documentation. Date of signature: January 2, 2009
